Membership in the Guild

Membership is open to all worthy artists. To become a member, you would need to submit at least three original dolls created by you with a minimum of one photo of each doll. The photos you send of each doll will be used for the critique process, so we recommend photos that show the best details of each doll. The critique is based on a 100 point checklist with attention paid to all features such as head, hands and feet as well as painting, wigging, clothing and proportion. The photos should be sent preferably by email, or along with a check made out to the Professional Doll Maker's Art Guild (PDMAG). This fee pays for a written critique of your work ($25), annual dues plus a prorated amount depending on which month of the year you join and ($29 one-time fee) for an individual page on the guild website.

Membership is renewable each year at the end of June at $60. Membership benefits include discounts on industry magazines, potential attendance at conventions, workshops and seminars. You will have the opportunity to join and communicate with some of the top doll making artists in the world.
