Artist of the Year
We would like to Congratulate Kellie Beckett! She has been voted by the members of The Professional Doll Makers' Art Guild as their Artist of the Year. You may see more of Kellie's Work by clicking on this paragraph.
IDEX 2012 was a great time for those members that attended the show. We not only had members in our booth, many had their own tables, which made for a great showing for the Guild! We also had our annual meeting and have some new and exciting changes.
We have welcomed two new officers to the Guild, Karen Baker will now be Membership Chairperson and Kellie Beckett will now be Show Coordinator. We also have new prices and spaces available at the IDEX show. For more information contact Kellie Beckett at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. We have made it more affordable for each member to participate.
We also will be having an Artist of the Year Event for Guild members. To participate make sure you are a member of The Professional Doll Makers' Art Guild and then join our Facebook Group.
And finally we awarded several of our members who attended the IDEX show special awards. They are as follows:
Most Valuable Member: Bev Gelfand
Bev has served the Guild for many years and has stepped up to the plate when we had no one else to do the job at hand. Everything from Secretary/Treasurer, Advertising, and Membership Chairperson. She is truly an asset to the Guild.
President's Choice Award: Karen Baker for her fine art doll "Shapeshifter".
Artist's Choice Award: Joe MacPhale for his doll "Galen".
Also Jack Johnston awarded his ProSculpt Award to Joy Calhoon for her fine art piece "Rythm of the Moon."
Congratulations to our winners!
